Kodlipet Dharmashankar is a cardiologist who aims to go beyond physically mending hearts. He believes that with love stress comes to ease, and joy doubles. His interest in helping others led him to explore medicine so he could directly aid people. He later went to the United States of America and began his career in Wisconsin. Then, he moved to the biggest southern state in America: Texas. Moving to Texas brought new opportunities to get more involved in his career and passions. He now had a business with his friend at two different locations. Operating the business has advantages and disadvantages, but he did not allow his dedication to fail him. However, his love for what he does urged him to go beyond what he did, so he began teaching. He took on multiple mentees and became a figure his co-workers admired. Today, he continues to manage his business, his patients, and his students. Dr. Dharmashankar lets his life exemplify his belief in the heart, a body part whose most significant task isn't just to pump blood through our veins but rather place love into everything we do.

In love, we suffer, and in love, we rejoice. Love is the stressor and the stress cure. This statement of love can be found to be evident in Doctor Kodlipet Dharmashankar's life. His life revealed to him those challenges for interests one truly loves is worth dedication. His love for medicine and people allows him to stay dedicated and joyful.
Dr. Dharmashankar's career began on the opposite side of the Earth to his workplace. He was born and raised in India with parents who encouraged him to be ambitious. He noticed that he had a natural desire to be a problem-solver for people. He immensely enjoyed helping his family and friends through advice regarding health. Given his interest in helping others, he decided to explore medicine. To do so, he made the decision to attend the medical college closest to where he resided. There, he struggled with education but continued to fall into a deeper love for helping people. Outside of helping people, he enjoyed learning about medicine. Knowing how his body functioned intrigued him because it was knowledge that affected him daily.
After graduating from his government medical school in India, he got the opportunity to travel to the United States of America to further his education and career in medicine. In the U.S.A., he pursued two fellowships, one as a cardiologist and one in interventional cardiology. Interventional cardiologists specialize in using the cathedral and performing minimally invasive procedures. Pursuing interventional cardiology allowed Dr. Dharmashankar to be involved in procedures and talk to patients nearly equally. He also completed his residency and got certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Finally, his years of dedication qualified him for the job he wanted. While Dr. Dharmashankar was in Wisconsin, he worked at Marshfield Clinic and the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Then, he moved to the most humongous state of the U.S.A. In Texas, Dr. Dharmashankar's career took a big turn. He continued to work as an interventional cardiologist, but now he owned the facility he worked at. The addition allowed him more flexibility in his schedule at the cost of time. However, his love for his career exceeded time. Despite the stresses he endured and the time he gave up, Dr. Dharmashankar put himself through it all in the name of love for his career and people.
His company now has two different locations near Houston, Texas. One of the office locations is in Webster, and the other is in Texas City. Dr. Dharmashankar spends the majority of his time in the location at Texas City and his Wednesdays at Webster. He continues to assist in operating both locations while doing procedures, teaching cardiology, and aiding patients. After his busy weekdays, he enjoys his weekends with his family. He has built his life to be an attestation of his philosophy on loving all that you do.
Dr. Dharmashankar further exemplified his love for his career and people by deciding to start teaching. He began teaching by aiding his co-workers and started accepting multiple mentees, which consisted of high school and college students. He advises his students to take notes, pay attention, explore medicine, be caring, and love what they do. He highly encourages doing research projects because he believes it's one of the prominent ways to learn more about one's field.

life: Fill your heart with love in all that you do. Love allowed his struggles
to be fulfilling and his joys to be immense. Without love, our hearts are
empty, and how would someone function with such emptiness in their heart?
